Breast cancer is second leading cause of cancer deaths in Ghana. At least 1 in 8 affected women die. In Ghana, the disease has a 40% survival rate because of lack of early detection programes, diagnosis and treatment facilities. The situation is even dire in rural communities where there is little to no medical facilities for screening and detection. Tab-bu Foundation is a charity organization led by young people to better the lives of underpriviledged communities in Ghana. We have undertaken various charitable events including donations to underserved people and schools, health screening and sensitization programs and educational outreach programs across the northern region of Ghana. This time, we want to help rural communities accross Northern Ghana with free breast cancer screening and sensitization. We are targetting over 300 women. With your help, we can save lives and improve living conditions in underserved communities. Your donation can save a life and change a whole community for the better. This screening exercise will help increase the survival rate of breast cancer and other prevalent health conditions.
