On August 9, 2025, the Tab-bu Foundation led a major health outreach in Kootingli, Tamale South, benefiting over 300 children under the age of 13. The initiative focused on malaria prevention and access to healthcare, with activities including community education, mosquito net distribution, and free NHIS registration and renewals.
In partnership with the Tamale Metropolitan Health Directorate, mosquito nets were distributed to households with children under five. Health officers also engaged residents in interactive sessions on malaria prevention and environmental sanitation.
To reduce financial barriers to care, the Foundation collaborated with NHIS officials to register and renew health insurance for children—ensuring continuous access to treatment.
The program reflects Tab-bu Foundation’s commitment to improving community health through education, prevention, and healthcare access.
