Rashida Abdul-Ganiyu is a scientist at Abbott Laboratories, USA. She is passionate about using her Scientific Research and Development skills to develop products that help humanity especially people in underserved communities. In her efforts to give back to society, she founded Tab-bu foundation. Rashida is also a proud recipient of social, academic and professional awards including the Women of Color Technology rising star (2023), the American Association of University Women (AAUW) international fellowship (2015), and the African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) fellowship (2014).

With her work at Tab-bu Foundation, she hopes to contribute to a world where underprivileged children have opportunities to develop to their fullest potential
